W2 Electronic Delivery

These steps will walk you through how to elect to receive your W-2 electronically.

Please note that you can only do this during a certain time of the year (usually September through December). Please watch the ESS alert, which will notify you when you can opt out of receiving a mailed W-2 and instead receive it electronically.

If you opt for electronic delivery, a paper W-2 will not be mailed. You will have access to your W-2 in ESS.

  1. Log in to ESS
    1. https://ess2.finance.utah.gov/irj/portal
  2. Click on "payments" or "view or update W-2 election"

  3. Check the box that says "do not mail the W-2 form." Make sure you hit "save current selection"
