Direct Deposit Updates

View, create, modify, or delete your direct deposit in Vantage by following the steps below.


View

1. Log in to Vantage http://vantage.access.utah.gov/, click the Pay Summary tile


2. Click Manage Direct Deposit


3. Expand the row(s) to view your direct deposit information


Create

1. Log in to Vantage http://vantage.access.utah.gov/ ,click the Pay Summary tile

2. Click Manage Direct Deposit

3. Click Create


4. Click the plus icon  to create a new line

  1. Enter the requirement information:
  2. Your ABA Routing Number 
  3. Your Account Number
  4. Choose Account Type – choose checking or savings 
  5. Enter From date of when you want the payment to go into effect quick reference guide 

Note: if you don’t see one of these columns on the blue line, click on the gear icon and toggle them on to be visible. You can adjust the column order by dragging and dropping. 

5. Click Update & Close. Your changes will take effect on the next payroll cycle. 


Modify or Delete

1. Log in to Vantage http://vantage.access.utah.gov/, click the Pay Summary tile

2. Click Manage Direct Deposit

3. Click Modify


4. Click on the 3-dot menu on the line you want to edit, then select Delete



If you'd like to verify you added or made changes to your bank account information correctly you can open a ticket and we will be happy to take a look.


Tips for Success 

  • Always verify routing and account numbers directly from your bank.

  • Make changes several days before payday to ensure they take effect.

  • Keep at least one active account on file to avoid payment delays.

  • If you’re unsure about account details, contact your bank before submitting.


Set up direct deposit quick reference guide

If you do not have access to Vantage you can pull the direct deposit form (FI21) off of the gateway, fill it out, make sure to include supporting documentation from your bank such as a voided check or a direct deposit letter (your bank will know what this is) and return to us at payroll@utah.gov and we will update this for you.  We cannot set up your direct deposit without your supporting documentation so it is important you send this to us with your FI21 form. Reminder: we only need this information if you DO NOT set this up in Vantage yourself. 


Paper forms will only be processed if the employee does not have access to Vantage
